The Project‍ ‍
The Literacy & Justice for All Symposium is an annual gathering bringing together educators, practitioners, and community members interested in supporting advancing literacy levels of all readers.

During this Project
Yareli was serving as the lead project manager of the symposium overseeing all logistics including venue, event app build out, speaker management, vendors, request for proposals, social media and website management, volunteer management and outreach strategy. This was the first year Yareli managed the symposium and grew attendance from 180 participants to 400+ attendees. During this project Yareli grew immensely in her event management skills and conference planning skills.
